DE LA LIGNE À L’HORIZONEXPOSITION DE PEINTURES DE ROSARIO GALATIOTO
Comme chaque année, le Domaine de La Citadelle reçoit un artiste le temps d’un été.
À partir du 3 juillet, nous accueillerons Rosario Galatioto, qui avait déjà participéà l’exposition collective des barriques en 2014.
Installé à Gordes, Rosario Galatioto travaille depuis ses débuts en 1987 sur le thème récurrent du paysage, questionnement auquel il ne peut donner une réponse définitive et qui devient au fil du temps un espace mental.
Rosario propose une peinture polymorphe – tantôt figurative, tantôt abstraite, tantôt lisse, tantôt rugueuse – réalisée dans le « recueillement » de la nuit pour chercher « une matière juste ».
La famille Rousset-Rouard vous convie au vernissage de l’exposition«de la ligne à l’horizon» jeudi 7 juillet à partir de 18h.

As every year, Le Domaine La Citadelle hosts the work of an artist during the summertime.
From July 3rd, we will welcome Rosario Galatioto, who had already participated in the « Barrels » group exhibition in 2014.
Located in Gordes, Rosario Galatioto is working since his debut in 1987 on the recurring theme of the landscape, questioning to which he can not give a definitive answer and that becomes a mental space over time.
Rosario offers a polymorphic paint – sometimes figurative, sometimes abstract, sometimes smooth, sometimes rough – made in the » recollection » of the night to find « a just material. »
